We will readily admit pride is dangerous but not willing to admit when confronted with it. When it comes to diagnosing our hearts pride will blind us to our own symptoms. Pride infects our vision and doesn't let us see the reality of what we are. Pride hardens our mind and makes us resistant, defensive and harsh towards others. In fact when we are most comfortable with ourselves is when we need to be most attentive to our hearts.
