Request Help For A Felt Need

Are you facing a challenge or going through a difficult time in your life? If you’ve landed on this page, you’re most likely in need of help and support. Maybe you’re battling depression and feeling hopeless about your circumstances or perhaps you’re going through a tough family matter or experiencing a loss. Regardless of what you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. [Church Name] wants to be there for you under any circumstance. We want to help by providing real-life solutions and resources to meet your most pressing needs. Below you’ll find some different categories of areas in a person’s life that they might wish to have help and guidance over like mental health, parenting, and marriage.

Care

Are you a caregiver for a loved one and beginning to experience burnout? Perhaps you’re caring for an elderly parent, a sick child, or a teen with an addiction and need the strength to keep going. Caregiving is a truly selfless job but that doesn’t mean you can’t also take care of yourself and ask for help when you need it. You should never feel guilty about needing help or time to rest. Even Jesus dedicated time to rest. If you’d like support as a caregiver, we’d love to help.

Marriage

While marriage was designed to be an incredible bond between two people filled with love, marriages aren’t always easy. It’s important to build your marriage on a strong foundation so that when challenges arise, your marriage remains solid. It’s very normal for marriages to have periods of both highs and lows during different life seasons. Whether you’re going through a joyful time of preparing for a baby or going through a painful low of feeling distant from your spouse, we want you to know that you’re not alone.

One of the best ways to strengthen your marriage is by asking God to be in the middle of it. Sharing your faith with your spouse and spending time together in prayer and worship can be a powerful tool in building your marriage. Our church offers many resources for married couples including:

Parenting

Even though parenting is extremely rewarding and comes with incredible blessings, it can also have its challenges. At times, raising your children can feel like an uphill battle. If you’re a single parent or raising a child with a disability, parenting can feel even more overwhelming. As your child approaches their teen years and begins to act out or make poor choices, it can be hard to know what to do. The good news is, the Bible offers a lot of great advice on how to raise a child.

It’s important to surround yourself with other like-minded parents who can offer support and comfort for whatever you may be facing with your child so that you don’t have to go through it alone. As a family-friendly church, [church name], we have a number of ways to strengthen the bonds with your child and special resources for both parents and children of all ages.

Mental Health

Have you been under a lot of stress recently and are experiencing racing thoughts? Are you battling depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or another mental health condition? With the stigma surrounding mental health problems, it can be easy to hide your struggle or worse, assume something is wrong inside of you and feel shame. God created you in His perfect image and loves you exactly as you are.

When mental health issues are not properly treated, they can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms that can lead to addictions and other harmful behaviors. In addition to seeking professional help, having a relationship with God can offer a great sense of relief. Jesus promises to take on our pain and suffering and that he’ll give us peace in return. If you’re hurting and would like to request prayer, you can do so here. If you’re struggling with your mental health, we have a variety of resources available to you:

Faith

Are you in need of prayer over a certain aspect of your life? Prayer is a wonderful way to talk to God and build a relationship with Him. Jesus tells us to ask and it will be given (Matthew 7:7). Even if you don’t know how to pray, the Holy Spirit will communicate to God our deepest desires and needs (Romans 8:26). If you’re struggling with your faith and feel alone in the world, we want to pray for you. Requesting prayer can be a powerful way to see your circumstances change and miracles unfold in your life.

Love

At different points in your life, you may face challenges when it comes to your love life. The world tells us to live frivolously and for ourselves which can cause a lot of pain and suffering in our romantic relationships. There is also a lot of cultural pressure to follow a certain path of getting married and starting a family after a certain age. Committing first to a relationship with Christ is the key to having a healthy love life for both singles and couples dating. In fact, the Bible tells us that those who choose to remain single are very blessed by God and are able to be used in special ways for the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Bible tells us a lot about what love should look like. Jesus is the perfect example of true love. No matter what you’re going through in your love life, we want to help support you.
